The Finance Management Analyst is responsible for processing and managing rent payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance with lease terms, and maintaining detailed financial records. This role collaborates with lease administration, finance, and property teams to track schedules, resolve billing issues, and deliver rent-related reporting.Job Description
About the Role:
- Lease Payment Management: Verify, reconcile, and process rent and property invoices, ensure timely payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with lease terms and internal policies.
- System & Record Updates: Maintain accurate financial records by updating real estate systems with rent adjustments, tracking security deposits, and managing subtenant rent collections.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with landlords, internal teams, and Accounts Payable to address billing issues, negotiate late charges, and ensure smooth payment operations.
- Audit & Compliance: Conduct detailed audits of CAM, insurance, and tax reconciliations; analyze charges for accuracy, resolve disputes, and recover overcharges.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present reports on rent metrics, participate in client meetings, and ensure compliance with standards like SOC1, AR, and AP.
About You:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required with 3–5 years of experience, preferably in accounting, invoice processing, or real estate.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in lease administration systems, ERP/financial software, and highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Communication & Presentation: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Teamwork & Independence: Able to work independently and within a team, building strong relationships in a matrixed, multi-regional environment.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrates advanced problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in complex situations.
