Ansible Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities Ansible Automation

• Develop, test, and deploy Ansible playbooks to automate:
• Infrastructure provisioning
• Configuration management
• Application deployment
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and implement efficient solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing Ansible playbooks and modules.

DevOps Practices

• Promote and implement DevOps best practices, including:
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency.

Incident Management

• Respond to incidents and outages, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with OpenShift, Ansible, and Red Hat Middleware.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of containerization, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Solid background in Linux administration and networking.
• Certifications:
• Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA and RHCE are expected.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

• On-call requirements: Rotational after-hours support as needed.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $6,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
