Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are a property management company looking for a full-time maintenance person to perform in-suite repairs, grounds keeping and general maintenance for apartment complexes. This position would be suitable for a mature, honest and responsible person with good interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- minor plumbing and electrical repairs

- painting apartment suites

- drywall repairs

- flooring installation

- snow shoveling, lawn care & grounds maintenance

Qualifications and Requirements include:

- ability to follow oral and written instructions

- previous experience with residential repairs and maintenance

- ability to work independently and efficiently

- mechanically inclined and ability to trouble shoot maintenance problems

- valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle capable of towing a utility trailer with a lawn tractor (monthly gas allowance provided)

- basic hand tools

- cell phone (partial reimbursement of cell phone expense offered)

- must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50 lbs.

- must provide a clear Criminal Record Check

Remuneration to be based on experience. Company-paid benefits package after 3 months.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
