Application Support For Powerapps Technology

An Application Support will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of business systems built on Power Apps technology, supporting both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom applications. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, collaboration, and continuous improvement to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Issue Identification and Resolution:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple components of critical business systems, including Power Apps applications, connectors, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and address system errors, data inconsistencies, and application performance issues.

Dynamic System Support:

  • Provide real-time support to ensure the smooth functioning of COTS and custom applications built on Power Apps.
  • Respond promptly to user queries, system alerts, and incidents to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Collaboration and Root Cause Analysis:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to identify root causes of system issues.
  • Implement effective solutions and preventive measures to enhance system reliability and user satisfaction.

System Monitoring and Performance Optimization:

  • Conduct regular system monitoring, including application usage, data flows, and connector performance, to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform performance tuning and capacity planning to meet evolving business requirements.

Documentation and Knowledge Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of incident resolutions, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Develop and update user guides, FAQs, and training materials to empower end-users and improve self-service capabilities.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements, automation, and process improvements to increase efficiency and user experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest Power Apps features, connectors, and best practices to drive innovation and scalability.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, data governance standards, and security protocols.
  • Monitor and address potential risks related to data privacy, application security, and system vulnerabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps
  • Additional Good to Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power BI
  • Strong understanding of IT operations and technical support processes
  • Knowledge of server and network areas.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Ability to implement technology solutions effectively

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Power Apps
  • This position is based at our Manila office
