Job Summary: We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Vehicle Panel Beater to join our Bodyshop team. This role will operate from our Douglas Road dealership and is offered on a 4-day work week.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: As an Apprentice Vehicle Panel Beater, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
This four year apprenticeship is offered in conjunction with SOLAS and involves both on and off the job training. Once successfully complete, the apprentice will be awarded a QQI level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Vehicle Body Repairs.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Dismantling and assessing vehicles to identify and remove damaged components
- Preparing vehicles for the repair process with precision and attention to detail
- Performing high-quality repairs that meet or exceed industry standards
- Adhering to established Job Card procedures to ensure efficient and accurate work
- Proactively communicating potential issues or challenges to the Manager/Supervisor in advance
- Maintaining strict compliance with all safety protocols and best practices in the workplace
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Desire to Learn: A strong desire to continually train and develop your skills.
- Team Player: An organized, flexible team player with excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Safety Standards: Experience in working to high standards of Health and Safety procedures.
- Driver's License: A full clean driver's license is required.
- Language Skills: Fluent English.
- Motivation: Highly motivated to learn and work to high standards.
- Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
