The Role
You will be responsible under broad direction to perform and achieve outcomes pertaining to the administering, implementation and the sustainment of ICT technologies within the Cyber Security Environment for Defence. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of ICT infrastructure, System administration and/or Containerisation technologies.

This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. Cyber Defence Systems is a directorate within the Service Management Branch. Our work revolves around providing a leading edge ICT platform that is utilised for the purposes of monitoring, managing, detecting, deterring and responding to any and all cyber security threats levelled at the cyber terrain within the Department of Defence.
