About People Business Partners:

The team consist of 14 People Business Partners supporting BNEW in Sweden. We all have responsibility for one or several units that give opportunity to work quite independent, at the same time we collaborate a lot on common tasks and assignments. Collaboration and team work are essential for success. There will be a special focus in labor law and union cooperation and negotiation in this role.

About the position:

This is an entry position with large opportunities to grow into a more broad role, potentially with a global scope.Some colleagues have also developed into a more specialist role focusing on a specific area such as talent management, talent acquisition, total rewards, etc.


Essential skills for the People Business Partner role include Workforce Planning, Diversity Equity and Inclusion Policies, Change Management, Employee Performance Management, Compensation Management, and People Analytics.


Review past achievements like leading successful Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, improving employee performance metrics, or managing effective compensation strategies indicate potential. In the first 3 months, expect them to assess current processes and build relationships. By 6 months, you should implement improvements in performance culture and recognition systems. By 12 months, you should drive measurable enhancements in diversity metrics and employee engagement, aligning with strategic goals


We work 3-4 days in office and its important that you can work onsite.


What you will do:

  • Foster the growth and career advancement of our talents in line with our strategic business direction.Enhance our strong performance culture by guiding managers in handling areas of low personnel performance.
  • Act as an advocate for diversity best practices and inclusion programs, tracking diversity metrics against determined targets.
  • Oversee pay and acknowledgement-related issues by supporting managers in executing Annual Salary Review (ASR)/Off-cycle budget/Short-Term Variable pay/ Stock Incentive Plan.
  • Guide managers with employee lifecycle needs, such as employment contracts, terminations, and relocations to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Utilize people analytics to inform strategic planning and give advice that informs our business direction.

To be successful in the role you have:


  • A newly graduated within Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant field.
  • Communicates well in both english and swedish.
  • Interest and understanding of People Policies, Processes.
  • The ability to engage, inspire and influence people. Used to drive strategic People initiatives and seek collaboration to deliver end to end results to the business.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

You should be passionate about driving diversity and inclusion, managing performance, and using analytics for business insights.
