Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience with z/OS Processing Environment. At least 7 years IBM coding and development.
- Experience with internal communications and logging in at least one of the following (preference in descending order):
- Db2 (i.e. IFCID)
- CICS
- IMS
- MQ
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools:
- Dump
reading/analys
is- Slip traps
- GTF Traces
- System logging
- Coding experience in a multitasking, reentrant and/or sysplex environment
- Understanding IBM z/OS operating system, z/OS Internals
- Experience with code merging activities using source code control systems such as BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline (ISPW).
- In depth experience in
troubleshootin
g problems and debugging code at application levels to resolve technical issues and upgrade software and assist in defect resolution.- Self-starter able to work independently to provide quality solutions with little oversight as a part of a team.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to get work done through others.
- Working in an agile environment (scrum team) with a
non-centralize
d team- Fluent English (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills.
