We are looking for an Asset Manager for a portfolio of renewable energy plants (Utility Scale) reporting to the Asset Operation platform and to the Italian Business Unit. Focused on maximizing asset profitability, this role involves being the main point of contact for all asset management activities, coordinating internal and external teams to ensure excellent and sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: monitoring P&L, preparing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Operations & Maintenance: Monitoring technical performance of plants, follow up on main losses, managing O&M suppliers.
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintaining strong relationships with partners, institutions, landowners and local communities.
- Contract Management: Supervising key contracts, including commercial terms and supplier obligations.
- Land Management: Managing lease agreements, relationships with landowners, and payments.
- Energy Management: Monitoring PPA execution, minimizing imbalances, and managing energy measurement and sales processes.
- Insurance Management: Submitting and monitoring insurance claims, coordinating with insurance companies to ensure timely resolution and payments.
- Business Optimization: Identifying initiatives to improve efficiency and long-term asset returns.
- Data Analytics: Managing and maintaining local databases and PowerBI tools.
Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the power industry.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- High-level troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Technical experience with utility-scale PV/Wind plants (construction or maintenance) is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
