Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our ever evolving Accounting team and help shape the future of global commerce.
What you’ll own
Handle general ledger tasks, including journal entries, month-end close, and financial system support
Perform bank reconciliations and financial analysis to ensure accuracy of reports
Maintain strong internal controls and organized records for compliance and audit readiness
Manage tax filings and regulatory requirements, supporting audits with necessary documentation
Collaborate with teams, uphold company policies, and stay updated on accounting standards
What you’ll bring
At least two (2) years of relevant experience in general accounting/general ledger.
Strong technical proficiency in computer equipment, Microsoft Office, and accounting systems, consistently producing accurate, high-quality work.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage records while multitasking under pressure in fast-paced environments
Adaptable team player who demonstrates initiative, confidence, and a commitment to continuous improvement and achieving departmental goals.
It’s a bonus if you have
A degree in Accounting (e.g., Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or equivalent) providing a strong foundation in financial principles, reporting standards, and accounting practices.
Experience in external audit, offering exposure to audit processes, compliance requirements, financial analysis, and internal control assessments.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, reflecting advanced technical expertise, professionalism, and commitment to high ethical standards.
