What is your mission?

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Controller to lead cash flow management, financial reporting, and accounting processes. In this role, you will oversee financial transactions, reconciliations, audits, and ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements. Approximately 30-35% of your time will focus on cash flow reporting and analysis. This position offers a key opportunity to contribute to budgeting, variance analysis, and process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will provide the best service to our partner client by performing these tasks:

Cash Flow Management:

• Lead and manage the company’s cash flow initiatives, with 30-35% of your time dedicated to cash flow reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely cash processing and treasury management.

Financial Reporting and Reconciliation:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements through detailed analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate on variance analyses and budgeting to support financial decision-making.

Accounting Operations:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory, fixed assets, and other financial data.
• Prepare and reconcile journal entries, ensuring the general ledger remains accurate.
• Review and process accounts payable while ensuring proper accounting treatments for transactions.

Audit and Compliance:

• Maintain accounting controls and audit documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and providing necessary financial data.

Payroll and Tax Oversight:

• Oversee payroll tax liabilities, ensure accurate filings, and monitor compliance with tax regulations.

System and Process Optimization:

• Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve financial recordkeeping and accounting system processes.
• Review, update, and develop accounting policies, procedures, and checklists to enhance operational efficiency.

Special Projects and Team Collaboration:

• Participate in special projects and provide training to team members to support their professional growth.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Month-End and Year-End Close:

• Perform timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings by reconciling accounts, balancing ledgers, and preparing trial balances.
• Contribute to period-end close processes, including producing financial statements and detailed reporting.

Who are we looking for?

• 5–10 years of experience in an Assistant Controller or similar role with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
• Proficiency in NetSuite is mandatory.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php110,000.00 per month
