Main Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting, Reporting & Closing
- Oversee the full spectrum of the financial account closing process for multiple entities and dental clinic locations
- Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analytical reviews
- Supervise and mentor a small team of junior accountants and executives, ensuring quality control over month-end deliverables
- Manage reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, ensuring intercompany balances, bank accounts, and fixed asset registers are accurate and up to date
- Ensure all financial statements and records comply with relevant Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and statutory requirements
- Oversee GST filings and coordinate with tax consultants to ensure accurate corporate tax reporting and compliance
Treasury & Operational Finance
- Support treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring and preparation of vendor payments
- Collaborate with operational departments to ensure smooth financial workflows and resolve daily accounting discrepancies
Audit, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Manage external audit processes for assigned entities and liaise closely with auditors by providing required documentation, schedules, and analysis
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and automation of manual processes
- Ensure internal controls are adhered to in order to mitigate financial risks and maintain data accuracy
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; audit background is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite or comparable ERP systems is a significant advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Meticulous, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
