Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a high-energy Assistant General Manager who is passionate about training, developing, leading and motivating the best restaurant team in town! The Assistant General Manager will assist the General Manager in delivering our guests an unparalleled culinary and service experience while continuing to build our standards of sales building and outstanding operations.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold commitment for exceptional service by measuring service standards daily and leading our team to be the best!
• Lead, communicate, and champion the Sugar Mountain Core Values, as well as all restaurant standards and policies.
• Manage all staffing functions, including but not limited to; hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling.
• Take our world class wine program to the next level through staff education.
• Manage all administrative aspects of our world class wine program, including selection, ordering, inventory, pricing, and cost of goods management.
• Ensure that our product quality is outstanding and that our food and beverage are exceptional.
• Execute the administrative functions supporting the day-to-day operations, such as: ordering, receiving, inventory, labor management, food safety, and cleanliness.
• Assist General Manager in managing a profitable store, helping manage all controllable expenses, including cost of goods and labor cost.

Requirements:

• 4 years’ progressive growth in upscale dining management, with at least 1 years’ experience as an Assistant General Manager at a high volume restaurant.
• Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of leading in a retail environment.
• Computer literacy to operate our retail POS system, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Must acquire Washington State Food Handler’s Permit upon hire.
• Has appropriate state/county alcohol service certification.

Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is between $82,000 - $94,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
