Assistant Manager

Meadows and Byrne, based in Douglas, Cork is looking for an ambitious and energetic Assistant Manager to join their team on a permanent contract.

As assistant manager, you will support the Store Manager in leading, developing, and training an energetic team.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and have a proven track record of achieving results. They will be target driven and sales focused with a strong emphasis on customer service and people development. A keen eye for the latest trends is also essential and excellent visual merchandising skills would be a distinct advantage

Responsibilities of this job include:

• Providing excellent leadership and guidance in store
• Opening and closing the store
• Ensuring the store and team are set up each day to ensure optimal productivity
• Maintain regular communication with head office
• Implementing excellent standards of merchandising
• Delivering store targets
• Any other ad hoc duties
