Job Description

The Role

As an Assistant Manager/ Sr HR Executive, you will implement and execute the performance management and talent development programs to enhance employees’ skills and capabilities, while partnering with business units on performance management and talent development matters.

You will focus on optimising performance management processes and driving performance improvement across organisation and collaborate with various departments to align talent development strategies to align to organisational goals.

You will track metrics to measure transition progress and recommend appropriate actions. Your Key Responsibilities

    • Talent Development and Succession Planning:
      • Talent Review Cycle: Oversee the end-to-end Talent Management process, including the identification, utilizing the 9-box grid and assessment of high-potential employees.
      • Succession Planning and Development: Support the Talent Review cycle to ensure a pipeline for future leadership needs through structured programs, coaching frameworks, and succession planning.
    • Learning & Development Strategy & Program Execution:
      • Workforce Capabilities: Partner with department managers to assess workforce capability gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
      • Learning Needs Analysis: Execute the annual Learning Needs Analysis (TNA) and company-wide training plan.
      • Training Programs: Manage the training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees through the selection and evaluation of all training programmes.
      • Competency Frameworks: Develop competency frameworks, conduct skills gap analyses, and create learning roadmaps aligned to business needs.
    • Performance Management:
      • Performance Management Cycle: Executing the performance management processes from supporting the end-to-end execution of performance management cycles (goal setting and year-end reviews), monitor timelines, track completion rates, and follow up with stakeholders to drive performance improvement across the organization.
    • Organization and Talent Development:
      • Workforce transformation: Involved in workforce transformation initiatives to restructure roles and workflows (Job Redesign) to make them more efficient
      • Organizational Development: Support organizational change efforts (e.g., restructuring, cultural transformation, process redesign).
      • Change Management: Plan and execute communication and training to ensure changes stick, managing resistance effectively.
      • Stakeholder Management: Point of contact for business units on HR programme execution matters, Support communication and rollout of HR initiatives, managing feedback and addressing operational challenges.
      • Programme & Project Support: Support the implementation of HR initiatives and Job redesign, workforce initiatives, coordinate across stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, prepare materials, track progress, and support project documentation.
    • HR Reporting:
      • HR Analytics: Prepare monthly HR reports and dashboards (e.g. performance outcomes, training metrics), analyze data and highlight trends or gaps for HR and stakeholders, maintain data accuracy in HR systems.


Your Skills

  • Strong understanding of performance management and talent development practices.
  • Experience in managing Hi-Po and succession planning.
  • Good working knowledge in program management, including planning, execution and evaluation of development initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Performance Management and Performance Improvement Strategies.
  • Familiar with using talent management systems and HR Analytics.
  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills.


Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Organisation Development, or related field.
  • 4 years in Human Resources, with proven experience in performance management, learning and development or HR consulting.
  • Ability to understand the daily business operations and connect the dots to propose feasible HR strategies.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity by taking vague problems and structuring them into clear, actionable plans.
  • Experience in supporting change initiative is an advantage.
