Assistant Store Manager Postmodern - Oslo

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM IN POSTMODERN, OSLO!

GANNI is currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our amazing retail team at our Postmodern store in Oslo. In this role, you will play a key part in leading store operations, driving sales, and ensuring an outstanding client experience.

As Assistant Store Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of running a successful GANNI store—from client interactions and styling to stock management, visual merchandising, business planning, and reporting. You will work closely with the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while inspiring and motivating the team.

Additionally, this role requires someone who is highly structured and motivated by operational excellence, as administrative reporting and store performance tracking will be an essential part of your responsibilities.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Drive and exceed store sales and KPI targets by analyzing performance and implementing action plans.
  • Build and grow a customer database through clienteling and CRM, ensuring strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting to GANNI HQ, including sales performance, operational updates, and administrative reports.
  • Support the Store Manager in developing and executing strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HQ teams to align store operations with brand-wide strategies and reporting requirements.

TEAM MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT

  • Motivate, coach, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Organize and deliver training sessions on product knowledge, selling techniques, and GANNI brand values.
  • Ensure all team members are onboarded, supported, and developed through structured performance evaluations and career development plans.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to foster a positive and high-performing team culture.

OPERATIONS & STORE MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishments.
  • Handle key administrative tasks, including staff scheduling, compliance, and daily operational reporting.
  • Ensure the store meets GANNI’s visual merchandising standards and provides a seamless shopping experience.
  • Assist in planning and executing in-store events, fostering community engagement and brand awareness.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to implement and uphold VM guidelines provided by HQ.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience in a retail management role, ideally within a premium or luxury fashion brand.
  • Strong understanding of sales KPIs, performance analysis, and action planning.
  • Proven experience in administrative responsibilities, including reporting and compliance.
  • Fluent in Norwegian, with strong English skills being a plus.
  • Proficiency in Google Office tools (Sheets, Slides, Docs) is an advantage.
