About the Practice

Our Finance practice advises on a broad spectrum of domestic and cross‑border financing transactions, including project finance, acquisition finance, leverage finance, and other structured finance matters across the energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors. The team is consistently recognised for its technical strength, commercial approach, and practical problem‑solving, acting for lenders, sponsors, developers, and government bodies on complex and high‑value transactions. Our lawyers work closely with clients throughout the lifecycle of a transaction, delivering solutions that are both legally robust and commercially effective.

Joining the practice offers exposure to market‑leading matters, with opportunities to develop a well‑rounded finance skillset while working on transactions that have meaningful regional and global impact.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Finance lawyer with 4–8 years’ post‑qualification experience to join our growing Finance practice. You will work closely with the highly regarded Partners Ben Thompson, Ee Lynn Tan and Salonika Rathod, as well as other lawyers across the firm’s international network. The role offers hands‑on transactional experience, early client exposure, and strong development support, making it an excellent platform for lawyers looking to build a long‑term career in finance.

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating finance and transaction documentation

  • Supporting due diligence processes and assisting with the coordination of multi‑jurisdictional workstreams

  • Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on transaction execution and client delivery

  • Assisting with client development initiatives, knowledge sharing, and internal know‑how

  • Exploring opportunities to leverage AI and legal technology to improve efficiency and ways of working
