Job responsibilities
Job purpose:
Overseeing the outsource accounting team, the taxation and also internal control over the finance closing of Bulgari Philippines. Partner with Commercial Head and play a part of finance activities of regional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing finance and monthly support with ecommerce invoicing, accounts payable, taxation filing and bank reconciliations
- Supporting local accounting (including sales commissions computation) and also point of liaison with local Thai tax authorities (in terms of VAT, tax filling, WHT)
- Handling retail activities and operational controlling
- Corporate reporting (SyRUS closing), intercompany reconciliation
- Budgeting cycles and reporting
- Manage outsourced local accounting
Profile
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of Finance experience
- Preferably minimally a Degree holder, or at least ACCA qualified
- Luxury retail experience preferred
Key Interactions (Internal & External):
- Internal Retail team
- Local outsource accounting team
- Local taxation and custom authorities
- Regional Finance
Required Competencies/ Traits required for the role
- Technically sound in Finance/Accounting knowledge
- Able to handle multiple streams of work and under tight deadlines
- Strong communicator and with high integrity
- Fluent in Tagalog and English.
