Auckland Transport Manager

T&G Fresh has been nourishing generations of Kiwis with fresh fruit and vegetables for over 125 years. Our domestic operations in New Zealand span the entire supply chain—growing, packing, marketing, selling, distributing, and exporting produce from our own orchards and farms, as well as from over 600 Kiwi growers. At the heart of this operation is our transport business, which plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of fresh produce from farm to retailers, delivering the quality and freshness our customers trust.

About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership role within our transport operations. Managing our two key sites in Pukekohe and Wiri, you will oversee critical movements flowing through these sites, ensuring seamless and efficient transport operations. This role combines leadership, problem-solving, and operational expertise to deliver excellence in transport and customer service.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Oversee drivers, dispatchers, and administration functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Manage all transport site activities, including planning, resourcing, and customer service.
• Maintain regular communication with customers, growers, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive site optimisation, efficiency improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, processes, and procedures.
• Deliver high-quality transport services that meet tight schedules and high standards.

About You

We’re looking for a strong leader with the ability to get the best out of others. Your background will be in transport or logistics, and having experience in sales would be an added bonus. You’ll also demonstrate:
