Key Responsibilities
· Assess compliance with governmental and jurisdictional regulatory requirements, financial accounting and auditing standards, and company policies to ensure company assets are safeguarded · Assist in assuring audit practices conform to department and professional standards · Using software packages to record and retrieve information · Assisting in the preparation of accounts, budgets, reports, and financial statements for clients · Assisting in auditing accounts and making end of year calculations · Provide administration support to the Audit department · Ad hoc duties as required by Audit departmentSkills, Knowledge and Expertise
· Current college student studying a business-related discipline. · Minimum 400 leaving certificate points. · Some work experience in a business environment would be an advantage · Excellent attention to detail is a key attribute of this role · Strong IT/Microsoft Office Skills e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint · Ability to deal with and prioritise multiple tasks · Ability to work both independently and as part of a team · Strong time management and organisational skills · Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills · Strong analytical skillsWhy BDO?
