Auto Body Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition
• Perform bodywork, including dent repair, panel replacement, and frame straightening
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply paint and clear coat to achieve a seamless finish
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role. No licensing required.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for bodywork and painting
• Strong knowledge of vehicle structure, mechanics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical specifications
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license
