Automotive Restoration Technician, Detailer

At Fine Finishes Restoration we pride ourselves on high quality restoration of classic and collector vehicles. From paint correction and ceramic coat to metal work and complete paint refinish, we provide detail oriented and thorough restoration to a variety of vehicles makes and models.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Body Technician, Automotive detail technician, or Fabrication technician at Fine Finishes Restoration in Westminster, MD. The Automotive Body Technician will be responsible for repairing and restoration of automotive vehicle bodies, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Compensation will be discussed at in person interview.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Automotive Body Technician or similar role
• Block sanding to a high level or willingness to learn
• Wet sanding and polishing to a high level, or willingness to learn
• High level detail and paint correction skills or willingness to learn
• Proficiency in vehicle repair techniques, tools, and equipment
• Ability to interpret technical documents and repair manuals
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certification in Automotive Body Repair is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
