Av Systems Integration Engineer

Role Overview:

The AV Systems Integration Engineer is a critical role bridging technical design and project execution. You will be responsible for pre-sales technical consultation, system architecture design, and overseeing the full project lifecycle to ensure high-standard delivery of integrated smart office solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-sales Technical Support: Provide technical consultation and system architecture design for smart meeting rooms and professional AV engineering projects.

Solution Design & Costing: Capture client requirements to draft Technical Specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and professional PPT proposals. Must be familiar with pricing structures to ensure cost-efficiency.

Implementation & Supervision: Manage on-site installation, software configuration, system commissioning, and upgrades to ensure high-quality project handover.

Sales Empowerment: Assist the sales team with live product demonstrations, address deep technical inquiries, and draft comprehensive design and implementation reports.

Technical Documentation: Produce professional technical manuals, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents, and project wrap-up presentations.

Tendering & Ownership: Take full ownership of the technical aspect of bids (Tenders) and provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the AV Integration industry with a background in Engineering or Computer Science.

Project Management: Proven experience as a Project Manager (PM) leading end-to-end AV/IT projects; experience in Maintenance and Operations (L1/L2 support) is a plus.

Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of mainstream meeting platforms (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms) and hardware brands (e.g., Crestron, Poly, Logitech, Cisco, Extron).

Design Tools: Proficient in AutoCAD or Visio for creating system schematics and floor plans.

Soft Skills: Strong logical thinking, excellent technical writing, and public speaking skills to translate complex technology into business language.

Preferred Certifications: Holders of CTS, CTS-D, or PMP are highly preferred.
