Backhoe Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment and a strong understanding of construction practices.

Duties

- Operate backhoes to excavate, move, and grade earth

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment

- Safely load and unload materials using the backhoe

- Assist with various construction tasks such as trenching, grading, and backfilling

- Assist ground crew when not operating the backhoe

- Coordinate with ground crew to ensure job site safety and efficiency

Skills

- Proficiency in backhoe operation

-Experience in Asphalt is required

- Experience with dump trucks, water trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment

- Commercial driving experience is a plus

- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Backhoe operation: 4 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Concord, CA 94520 (Required)
