Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
• Package baked items carefully for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation
• Support food production activities by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and operating kitchen equipment safely
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sanitizing surfaces, tools, and equipment regularly in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety
• Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about products and assisting with special orders or catering requests

Experience

• Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or food preparation within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices is essential
• Hands-on experience with packaging baked goods for retail or wholesale distribution is a plus
• Strong knife skills for precise cutting and ingredient preparation are beneficial
• Culinary experience in the food industry that demonstrates attention to detail and efficiency will support success in this role
