Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to foster a friendly atmosphere.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately according to event specifications and guest preferences.
• Set up banquet tables with appropriate linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces to ensure an attractive presentation.
• Clear tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the event.
• Assist with food handling, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper food presentation.
• Support catering operations by bussing tables, replenishing supplies, and preparing service stations as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of dishes and beverages during events.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.
• Maintain a clean work environment by following sanitation procedures and proper food handling protocols.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces before and after events to ensure smooth transitions.
• Support team members in various food service tasks, including food preparation and serving duties when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments is desirable.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper food service techniques.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk swiftly between tables, and lift moderate loads as needed.
• Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, serving protocols, and basic food preparation is advantageous.
