Bar Manager/Bartender

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Bar Manager to lead a bar program defined by precision, balance, and consistency.

As part of the next chapter of Mallard Cottage, the bar will play a central role in the overall guest experience—complementing the kitchen and dining room with a thoughtful, well-executed beverage program.

The Role

As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the development, execution, and day-to-day operation of the bar.

You will:

• Develop and maintain a focused, high-quality cocktail program
• Oversee wine, beer, and spirits selection in collaboration with leadership
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Train, mentor, and lead bar staff
• Ensure consistency and quality across all beverages
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment
• Work closely with front and back of house leadership to align the guest experience

Who You Are

You are both a craftsperson and a leader.

• Have experience leading a bar program in a quality-driven environment
• Possess strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine
• Understand inventory, costing, and operational systems
• Lead by example with professionalism and attention to detail
• Build strong, reliable teams
