About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Manager to lead our team at JJ Walsh's Bar in the heart of Cork City. The Bar Manager must lead all bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of bar service and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day bar operations, including staff supervision and customer service.
• Recruit, train, and schedule bar staff to maintain high standards.
• Create and update drinks menus in collaboration with the team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
• Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.
• Drive sales through promotions and events.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
