Barista/All Rounder

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness in the café environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders efficiently.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and handling.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and promote menu items.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cash handling or cashiering is an advantage.

Pay: $16.50-$19.00 per hour
