New Store Project Coordinator Lead, plays a key role in supporting the successful opening of new retail locations. This position involves coordinating multiple fixtures, equipment, and signage installations each quarter. The coordinator will collaborate with various internal teams, including store leadership, construction, IT, finance, fixture purchasing, and store planning, to provide operational support and ensure the smooth execution of business processes. Key responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date documentation, such as timelines, processes, manuals, and training materials. The role requires executing projects according to approved plans, proactively identifying and resolving any issues, and adhering to best practices to minimize shortages, reduce rework, and ensure a high level of service to stores.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develops and supports project timelines and budgets, including the creation of project plans, communication to key stakeholders, and assisting in the development of operational procedures.
- Coordinates requests for installer bids, and analysis of submittals, for review with leadership.
- Supports pre-opening preparations, including reviewing fixture plans and ensuring that all fixtures have been ordered. Issues the plan to installers for scheduled installations.
- Review site conditions and any municipal constraints on deliveries, and then partner with logistics vendors to ensure on-time delivery of fixtures, equipment, and signage.
- Support the creation and update on field-facing conference calls.
- Creates new store survey questions for touch-base calls.
- Supports process improvement activities.
- Codes financial invoices.
- Oversees and supports the new store kits (partner follow-up, copy center request, packing).
Qualifications
Education:
- HS diploma and/or university degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of field experience required.
Experience:
- Experience in a retail setting is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish required.
- 3 years of project coordination experience is required.

Working conditions
- Project Coordinator Lead usually works in an office environment, but the project may sometimes take the employee to a non-standard workplace.
- Project Coordinator Lead works a standard work week but may be required to work some evenings and weekends to monitor project activities.
- Some travel may be required.
