Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our company in Dublin 3. This role involves managing the day-to-day accounts operations, including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), payroll, and revenue tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain and record all financial transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, payments).
- Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and manage supplier payments.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue customer invoices, track overdue payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation: Ensure all bank transactions are recorded accurately and resolve discrepancies.
- Expense Management: Track and manage company expenses, including employee reimbursements.
- Budget Assistance: Help create and monitor budgets.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
- Audit Support: Provide necessary documents and support during internal and external audits.
- Administrative Tasks: File, organize financial records, and respond to general inquiries.
- Payroll Management: Process and complete weekly payroll using Brightpay.
- Revenue Compliance: Ensure VAT and PAYE obligations are met with Irish Revenue.
- General Office Administration: Support general office functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Good interpersonal & Communication Skills and Fluent English.
- A qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications will also be considered.
- Experience in accounting software such as ZOHO, Sage
- Experience in Microsoft Excel are highly desirable.

- Good verbal and written communication skills for liaising with vendors, customers, and team members.
- Basic analytical skills for financial data interpretation.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a motivated, confident self-starter with the ability to self manage accounts. The successful candidate should possess good communication skills and the ability to handle tasks accurately and efficiently.
Next Step:
We will be conducting video call 15 minute interviews, followed by face to face interviews to start as soon as possible.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: €20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 26 per week
