Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Looking for a reliable, accurate & motivated Counter/ Sorter to join our small friendly team environment for year round employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting & counting items into the appropriate categories and ensuring that all items are labeled. The ideal candidate should be friendly, able to work well with others & able to work independently in a fast pace environment. Attention to detail is a must, as accuracy is key in this role. Working Saturdays would be required. We do close earlier on Saturday at 2 pm. We are closed Sundays & Mondays. 95% of our work is indoors, with No Nights, Paid training, Paid breaks, Possible room for advancement.

Current hours of operation: Tue - Fri 9-5 Saturday 9-2 Year round inside work.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Have a positive attitude, be willing to learn & be polite with others.
• Sort and count accurately and efficiently refundable beverage containers according to sorts, color, and size for customers and pay them.
• Cash register/pallet jack/Tablet & forklift experience is an asset.
• Stack & sort electronics, Paint, and Metals.
• Organize & stack full bags into designated storage areas for shipping, on shipping day untie & drag bags to the truck driver.
• Maintain a clean & organized work area & be a productive team member.
• Follow direction & procedures that are in place.
• Sundry duties as assigned..
• Someone with previous management or supervisor experience and or Key holder experience would be an asset.

*Requirements*

- The ability count accurately by fours.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- CSA-certified steel-toed footwear.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs. -Available for year round work.

Job Type: Full-time
