Building Supply Counter Salesperson

This position will be based at our Derby, VT location.

Job Duties:Provide prompt, quality service to walk-in customers and assist in maintaining the store in an attractive, well-displayed condition. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Greet customers immediately as they enter the store
• Assist customers in selecting items they wish to purchase, including mixing and selling paint and related products. Process customers through the checkout counter in a prompt, courteous, business-like manner with minimum delay and maximum courtesy.
• Assist in receiving stock and putting it away.
• Assist in answering incoming phone calls.
• Assisting in cleaning and merchandising the store

Requirements: Retail experience preferred, especially with building materials, but, willing to train the right person. General knowledge of computers and a willingness to provide outstanding customer service. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Energetic with desire to learn. Must have the ability to learn about the products we sell.
