Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced analyst with experience in both data analysis and finance/business analysis to join our Finance team. Our ideal candidate must possess the ability to progress through tasks with minimum supervision. They must also have a strong team mentality, analytical skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing financial and operational analysis that adds value and allows for the making of strategically sound decisions
• Presenting complex subjects and/or data in an easily digestible way to stakeholders and make insightful recommendations
• Participating in monthly forecast preparations and business review documentation
• Management reporting, performing variance analysis, investigating discrepancies, and identifying key trends and drivers
• Business scenario modeling
• Develop and report on KPIs
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Entering, retrieving, transforming, and analyzing data

Skill Set, Education and Experience

• Have at least 1-3 years of experience in a related analytical role in finance/accounting or data analysis
• University Degree in Finance/Economics/Statistics background is highly regarded
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skills, and experience working in Excel (Power Pivot, Index-Match, VBA, Arrays, etc.). Experience in producing Excel models, what-if scenarios, data collection, cleanup, and data mining
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with business intelligence tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Zap BI, etc.), analysis tools (R or Python), or FP&A tools would be considered an asset
• Have an analytical mindset and the ability to process high volumes of data and interpret complex business issues accurately to non-financial and data users
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment is essential to this role including recommending changes to improve process efficiencies
• Experience with financial modeling; able to translate the impact of analysis to the business
• Be detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple requests under pressure, and effectively prioritize tasks at hand to meet tight deadlines
