About the Team:
The Shopee COO Office drives business growth and efficiency by identifying improvement opportunities, tracking key metrics and implementing initiatives to boost commercial performance. Through analysis, benchmarking and industry research, they refine strategies, optimise processes, track performance and collaborate with local markets in Asia to improve performance and drive proactive growth strategies.
Job Description:
- Support the design and evaluation of business metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Conduct data analysis to generate actionable insights for commercial and operational teams
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and optimisation of reporting tools and dashboards
- Translate data into clear and concise insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and contribute to analytics projects
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives and help promote a data-driven culture within the organisation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and above in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or any related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with SQL and/or Python is preferred
- Strong interest in data-driven problem-solving and business strategy
- Good communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
- Experience with VBA or Spark is a plus, but not required
- Prior internship in analytics, business intelligence, or e-commerce is a plus
