This is a full time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $ 117,099 to $165,316 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
In this newly created role, you will influence, lead, embed and deliver best practice business case development across the organisation, ensuring investment decisions are strategically aligned, evidence based, and deliver value for money. The ideal person will have a good understanding of developing a business case approach to investment and be a proven influencer and collaborator.
You will get to:
Lead business case development and investment delivery
Develop and maintain business case tools and guidance aligned with national standards and best practice
Provide advice and quality assurance on business case development
Build capability across the group through training mentoring and support in business case preparation
Monitor and report on the quality of business cases and outcomes of business cases
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
Ideally 10 plus years of relevant experience (e.g. investment planning or financial forecasting experience)
A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, economics, strategic planning, asset management- or associated similar discipline
Significant experience in Business case practice/preparation, investment planning, options analysis and advice
Proven collaboration skills – able to surface the most important issues, bring the right people together and facilitate robust decision-making
Experience in running training/development programmes to upskill staff
Strong writing for decision making skills
