You’ll work in a team that values ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement, and you will play a central part in strengthening first‑line controls during our ongoing transition to more digital, insight‑driven operations.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding processes, is confident with data, and thrives in a team focused on efficiency, quality, and operational integrity.
Hours 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm
All candidates for this role must have the Right to Work in Ireland – Be an EU or holder of a valid Stamp 4 Visa
Main Tasks: In this role you will
- Execute essential control activities such as cash, Nostro, and suspense reconciliations
- Monitor operational activity to identify errors, exceptions, breaks, or unusual patterns early
- Produce insights across quality, throughput, operational stability, and risk indicators
- Log and track issues, follow up with the responsible teams, and support timely remediation
- Collect, validate, and interpret operational data for daily reporting, monthly scorecards, and control dashboards
- Support investigations into incidents, execution errors, or control failures, and help quantify operational and customer impacts
- Perform data quality checks across systems and reports, ensuring accurate inputs into downstream processes
- Map processes to identify control gaps, handoff issues, or opportunities to streamline steps
- Collaborate with colleagues across Operations, Risk, Technology, and Business Change to address issues and strengthen end‑to‑end processes
- Act as a key point of contact for control activities, reconciliations, and data queries for middle‑ and front‑office teams
What We Offer:
- A meaningful role contributing directly to the efficiency, resilience, and stability of the organisation
- Opportunities to develop skills in controls, data analysis, operational insights, and process optimisation
- A collaborative, high‑performing environment where ownership and continuous improvement are valued
- Flexible hybrid working arrangements
- This role may require occasional later working hours to support North America during month‑end activities
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data/Analytics, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 years in Operations, Controls, Finance, or data‑driven roles (Banking/Fintech helpful but not essential)
- Strong analytical skills with solid Excel capability; exposure to Power BI or SQL is a plus
- Experience with reconciliations, investigations, or exception handling (cash, Nostro/Suspense, data quality)
