Are you passionate about driving growth and shaping the future of banking? NOBA Bank Group is looking for a Business Developer to strengthen our Deposit Funding team within Treasury. You will have a strong commercial and business development focus and play a key role in supporting NOBA’s ambitious expansion, ensuring our continued growth in the coming years.

The Treasury department is responsible for all funding, risk- and liquidity management and capital on Group level. NOBA’s main source of funding is deposits from the public, and we have ambitious goals to increase deposit funding in the coming years to support the bank’s overall growth objectives. As part of our Deposit Funding team, you will help ensure cost-effective and diversified funding for NOBA Bank Group. You will join a committed, positive, and ambitious department that values initiative, ownership, and collaboration. We continuously seek new and better ways to work in a dynamic setting.

About the role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with business development and commercial aspects within Deposits, in an expanding banking environment. You will influence future products, markets and processes, and collaborate with engaged colleagues in a Nordic setting. You will work with and report to the Head of Deposit Funding.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive market analysis and identify new opportunities for expansion and product development within Deposits

  • Lead business cases and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.

  • Coordinating and ensuring all commercial aspects of deposit products offered across NOBA’s brands, through close dialogue and collaboration with departments such as Sales & Marketing, Brand & Communication, Legal, and Product & Tech teams.

To succeed in this role, you need to acquire deep knowledge of deposit products, processes, and the market, as well as insight into our competitors’ offerings. You stay constantly updated on market developments through market monitoring, peer analysis, and macro analysis, and use this knowledge to develop and improve our offerings.

Who we’re looking for

  • A relevant educational background within economics, finance, marketing, engineering, or similar.

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience of business or product development, driving commercial initiatives, preparing business cases and stakeholder management.

  • Previous experience from the banking, finance, or insurance sector and an interest in the Treasury area.

  • Good knowledge of banking or insurance products such as consumer/mortgage loans or deposits.

  • Strong analytical experience.

  • Fluency in Swedish and English.

You are proactive and used to prioritizing and driving initiatives independently. You are structured and meticulous, with a keen eye for improving processes and ensuring quality. Furthermore, you collaborate and communicate easily with colleagues from different parts of the organization as well as with external partners.
