Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the sales strategy for the Dental Group sector in line with the dental channel & company objectives.
  • Develop and progress TePe’s presence and activity within the dental groups across the UK territory.
  • Manage accounts with administrative and promotional information.
  • Liaise with the UK marketing team to develop account specific materials.
  • Liaise with operations team to communicate sales forecasts and promotional plans.
  • Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for growth and to produce sales insights, competitor reports, business review presentations and promotional reports
  • Prepare sales presentations for customer visits.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the dental channel and secure new business with new account agreements.
  • Develop new relationships with prospect accounts and build a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Grow the current existing (mainly small/med sized groups) DSO business by developing annual growth plans (in conjunction with the Head of Sales Dental)
  • Assist Head of Sales Dental with projects where required.

General:

  • Reports to the Head of Sales Dental.
  • Works closely with Operations and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction and high levels of support.
  • Undertakes specific projects as directed by the Head of Sales Dental.
  • Keep up to date with knowledge of the DSO environment as well as key account strategies.
  • Attend and work at Trade Shows as and when required.
  • Accurate and consistent completion of CRM system (TePe CORE).
  • Writing timely contact reports and monthly sales reports.
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Required Skills:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or 3 good A-level’s.
  • Ideally will have strong knowledge of the Dental Channel and DSO’s.
  • At least 2-3 year’s experience of account management within the channel.
  • Strong commercial awareness / numerate.
  • Strong competence in using Microsoft applications inc. Teams, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Experience of working with, and interpretation / analysis of sales data would be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills. Clear, concise and to the point.
  • Strong organizational skills / time management.
  • A team player.
  • Comfortable in building lasting business relationships.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to show resilience and tenacity.
  • Quickly prepared to take on responsibility and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel (attend shows / meetings as appropriate).
  • Compatible with TePe Culture.

Salary £35,000-£39,000 plus company car
