Business Development Manager

Street Diligence is a high-growth FinTech start-up with an innovative product offering and ambitious expansion plans. Our clients include leading financial institutions that use our platform to analyze and negotiate advantageous terms in legal and financial contracts. We break down key terms, identify what’s “market” and “off-market” and flags risks embedded in contract terms. Our platform also provides unique visuals, benchmarking and comparison to place negotiations and contracts in context. Founded in 2012, Street Diligence is headquartered in New York.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the trajectory of a fast-moving SaaS company in the FinTech space. Street Diligence is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and optimize our outbound sales efforts, driving the success of our sales strategies and top-of-funnel growth. This role will be pivotal in organizing high-quality prospects, delivering targeted contacts to the SDR team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in outbound marketing strategies, prospect mapping, and a data-driven mindset to track success through conversion rates and revenue impact. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create and implement a targeted strategy focused on driving market penetration within our key products and verticals to achieve measurable growth.

  • Focus on generating leads and driving their conversion, with a focus on revenue generation as a key performance indicator.

  • Equip the SDR team with vetted, high-quality contacts for outreach, ensuring alignment with sales goals and maximizing conversion potential.

  • Research and identify target companies and key contacts within specific verticals, creating a clear map of high-value opportunities for the sales team.

  • Design and execute outbound engagement strategies, including the creation of messaging, sales outreach, and drip campaigns, leveraging our existing marketing collateral to enhance engagement.

  • Identify events and networking opportunities that align with our lead generation and growth objectives .

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • BA/BS degree (or relevant work experience)

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B Sales, Sales Enablement, or a related field with a strong focus on lead generation.

  • Expertise in ‘cold calling’ best practices and managing diverse stakeholder groups

  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing outbound campaigns, including email marketing, drip campaigns, and targeted outreach

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (ie. Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms to track and nurture leads effectively

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working at a FinTech or Financial Services organization.

  • Experience selling an AI or ML based SaaS platform
