The Business Development Representative serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring individuals or organizations. The Business Development Representative primary responsiblity is to focus on new business and build relationships.

Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field is preferred. Additional, directly-related and verifiable experience (beyond the minimum required below) may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree on a year-for-year basis.
Experience
- Minimum 1 – 3 years recent experience in a metrics driven sales & business development setting.
- Extensive experience in account development, relationship building, B2B sales and the proven ability to close sales is required.
- Experience in addictions, dually diagnosed/co-occurring disorders for adults preferred
Knowledge
Demonstrable knowledge of behavioral health and addiction services marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming is highly preferred. Must possess demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage, and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection analysis and interpretation; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
