The Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Inside Sales team and help drive Ekco’s continued growth.

This role is focused on generating and progressing revenue opportunities across new prospects and existing customers, selling Ekco’s full portfolio with a strong emphasis on security, cloud management and backup solutions.

You’ll be a key part of the commercial engine at Ekco — qualifying demand, shaping opportunities, and working closely with account managers and technical specialists to deliver real outcomes for customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

o Identifying, engaging and qualifying new business opportunities across the Ekco target market

o Managing inbound and outbound sales activity to build a strong, sustainable pipeline

o Developing existing customer relationships by uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities

o Positioning and selling Ekco’s services, including cyber security, managed cloud, and backup and disaster recovery solutions

o Running discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, risk, and commercial drivers

o Collaborating with pre-sales, architects and delivery teams to design the right solutions

o Owning opportunity progression through the sales cycle, from qualification to close

o Accurately maintaining pipeline, activity and forecasts in CRM

o Staying current on Ekco services, vendor technologies and market trends

What Success Looks Like

o Consistent pipeline generation and deal progression

o High-quality qualification and strong sales discipline

o Confident, credible conversations with IT and business stakeholders

o Strong collaboration with the wider Ekco sales and technical teams

What We’re Looking For

o Experience in an inside sales, business development or BDR role

o Comfortable selling B2B technology or IT services

o Strong communication, questioning and listening skills

o A proactive, commercial mindset with a bias for action

o Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and activity
