Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst with extensive expertise in IBM Cognos to design and deliver advanced reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will also bring strong skills in Excel macros/VBA, Power Automate, SQL, and Power BI, and be comfortable working in an on-site environment. This role is essential in ensuring data-driven decisions across the organization by delivering actionable insights through accurate and visually compelling reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain complex reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

· Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into IBM Cognos solutions.

· Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and user-friendliness of IBM Cognos reports and dashboards.

· Leverage Excel macros and VBA scripting to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.

· Use Power Automate to design and implement automated processes for enhanced efficiency.

· Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.

· Create visually impactful dashboards and data models using Power BI.

· Support end-users by providing training and resolving issues related to BI tools, especially IBM Cognos.

· Continuously monitor and improve data accuracy, integrity, and reporting standards.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IBM Cognos and other BI tools to ensure the organization leverages best practices.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

· Proven expertise in IBM Cognos, including report creation, framework management, and dashboard design.

· Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in developing macros and VBA scripts.

· Hands-on experience with Power Automate for workflow and process automation.

· Strong skills in SQL for data querying, optimization, and troubleshooting.

· Demonstrated ability to build engaging dashboards and visualizations in Power BI.

· Ability to work effectively on-site as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred:

· Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning in IBM Cognos.

· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and additional BI tools.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Analytical mindset with a focus on solving complex data challenges.
