We are looking for a Business Service Specialist, The Workplace Experience (WX) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring culture and values to life. This is a 30-hour-per-week, 1.4-year contract (possibility of extensions). Onsite in San Jose CA, 95128.

This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K offered.

Responsibilities:

• Operates lift trucks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move shipments to designated areas; uses stretch wrap banders and packaging equipment as needed.
• Conducts inspections of incoming shipments, documenting any damages through photos and written reports; completes necessary paperwork.
• Supports small parcel and freight shipments, including mail pickups/deliveries, and performs computer functions for tracking goods received.
• Assists with asset tagging of equipment and maintains an adequate supply of shipping materials at all times.
• Picks up, sorts, and delivers packages/mail/pallets to storage or work areas, ensuring accuracy and condition of shipments.
• Schedules and monitors domestic/international freight and e-waste pickups/deliveries; responds to client requests accurately and promptly.

Requirement:

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent education/experience)
• 2-3 years of experience in Shipping & Receiving/Distribution (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and Zoom, experience with Oracle or similar financial software
• Familiarity with UPS Ship Exec and Bear River (Bear Tracks); adherence to mail/package handling and security practices
• Knowledge of SOX compliance, DOT regulations, LTL/Truckload and International Tariffs, Schedule B tariff codes, and ECO terms
• Understanding of regulatory compliance for shipping hazardous/non-hazardous materials (domestic and international)
• Ability to lift/carry at least 50 pounds
• Valid Class A driver's license required for operating company vehicles as needed
