Busser/Food Runner

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated Busser to join our team in a full service family dining setting. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service and contribute to the overall dining experience.

*Duties*

• Clearing tables: Remove used dishes, silverware, and glassware from tables after guests leave.
• Resetting tables: Wipe down tables, replace tablecloths if necessary, and set up clean silverware, napkins, and dishes.
• Maintaining cleanliness: Keep the dining area, floors, and service stations clean and tidy.
• Supporting servers: Assist servers by bringing water, refilling drinks, and helping with other tasks as needed.
• Managing trash: Empty trash cans, recycle materials, and clean any spills or messes.
• Stocking supplies: Replenish supplies such as napkins, condiments, and cleaning materials in the dining area.
• Delivering food: Transport dishes from the kitchen to the guests promptly and accurately.
• Ensuring order accuracy: Double-check orders to ensure they match the guests’ requests before serving.
• Explaining dishes: Provide brief descriptions of the dishes to the guests if required.
• Maintaining communication: Relay any special requests or issues from guests to the kitchen or servers.
• Assisting with plate preparation: Help in the kitchen with plate assembly or garnishing when needed.
• Handling special requests: Cater to guests’ needs, such as bringing additional condiments or utensils.

*Requirements*

- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus

- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food handling and guest services is a plus

- Familiarity with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach

- Knowledge in Korean cuisine, language, and culture is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
