Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for various tasks within the food service environment, including food handling, cashiering, and upselling menu items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Assist in food preparation and handling as needed.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.55-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week
