YOUR ROLE

Reporting into the Senior Manager, eCommerce & Digital Marketing, the Digital & Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for tactical strategy and execution of email programs and all website production, including CMS input and promotions. This role will collaborate closely with the Merchandising team, the Design team, Content team, the User Experience team (UX), and the Marketing Technology team, truly placing a focus on enhancing both web and email customer journeys and experience. The Digital & Email Marketing Specialist will play a key role in the Digital Team’s ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets for both the web and email channel.

> Work with cross-functional teams to build & execute strong seasonal site and email calendars that balance Brand Stories, Products Stories & Promotional Activity
> Create work-back schedules and manage timelines with cross-functional teams for copy, translation, product and creative assets required for business-as-usual marketing activities, brand activations, and triggered emails

> Perform day-to-day marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, web refresh flips (wireframe building, CMS input, promotion creation, content updates), promotional launches, email scheduling, testing, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns
> Lead quality assurance process by reviewing copy and design and testing all site modules and emails before deployment

> Optimize email campaigns through A/B testing to improve open rate, clickthrough, conversion, as well as specific business goals
> Be the business lead within the collaborative development & delivery of new digital features; propose new modules pages, A/B tests and customer journey adjustments based on business learnings

> Work with the CRM team to develop and recommend customer journeys for the different lifecycle stages (i.e. new, churn, inactive, win-back)
> Support in compilation of detailed project post-mortems, reviewing key learning and process gaps including competitive benchmarking

> Work to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing the level of engagement through email sends

> Track and report on email performance, analyze results to provide insight for email optimization and future programs

> Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current email and website best practices, inclusive of CRM and push marketing best practices

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

> A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent experience

> 3-5 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or loyalty program management

> Experience in customer lifecycle management, retention, customer segmentation, and loyalty marketing

> A results and data-driven mindset with a strong analytical capability and solid experience leveraging customer data to drive conversion are an asset

> Demonstrates an ease in building A/B testing and email optimization strategies

> Proficiency using email lists, segmentation, and email marketing platforms (ex. Shopify, Emarsys, SalesForce, SendGrid, ExactTarget) and data analytics platforms (ex. Google Analytics 4, etc)

> Extremely organized and process oriented. Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task with excellent attention to detail
