Cardiac and/ or Vascular Sonography Instructor:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the crucial role of a cardiac and/ or vascular sonography instructor. The faculty member is responsible for instructing and assessing didactic and clinical courses in the cardiovascular sonography program. The individual will also be responsible for implementing and improving the coordination of the didactic, campus laboratory, and clinical experiences in the cardiovascular sonography program.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs student instruction and clinical assessment to include:
Maintain the lab experience curricula to coincide with state and national guidelines.
Instruct in Cardiovascular Sonography didactic coursework.
Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as the syllabus defines.
Implements course policies to ensure students are learning in an academic environment
Participate in continued program evaluation to include scanning protocols for the lab.
Assist the program director in operating the program by formulating program, lab, and clinical policies and procedures.
Participate in programmatic and accreditation activities.
Deliver training on scanning protocols in the lab to correlate with didactic lectures.
Ensures all the objectives are met during clinical rotation.
Communicate effectively with program director, staff, and peers.
Assign grades for students.
As a cardiac and/or vascular sonography instructor, you will maintain our lab equipment.
Stay updated with industry standards and incorporate them into program offerings accordingly.
Participates in Advisory Committee meetings

Dedication, motivation, and enthusiasm for teaching.

Required Education & Experience:
Graduated from an accredited cardiac, vascular, or general sonography program or equivalent.
An academic degree is not lower than an associate degree and at least equal to that for which the students in the program are being prepared.
The equivalent of two years of full-time clinical experience as a cardiac, vascular, or general sonographer.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer: (RDCS) or (RCS)
or Registered Vascular Technologist: (RVT) or (RVS)
