Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those requiring assistance with daily living activities. This role is essential in delivering personalized care plans, ensuring safety, and fostering a nurturing environment for individuals with various needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' conditions through patient observation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with family members and team members regarding client progress and concerns.

Skills

• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• Experience or training in memory care, dementia care, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior promptly.
• Knowledge of home community care practices and group home environments is beneficial.
• Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Proficient in meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals for clients.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• CA drivers license
• Clean background check

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 08 – 40 per week
