Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including building, installation, and restoration. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality results that meet our clients' specifications.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble homes according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Restore and repair existing structures, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Conduct construction painting as needed to enhance the finished product.
• Handle heavy lifting and maneuver materials safely on job sites.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry or related fields is preferred.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading to accurately interpret project plans.
• Familiarity with various carpentry tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
• Basic maintenance person skills are a plus for additional maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
